Default External SD/FF with a1500/a2000
I have an eytech external sd/ff that works with my a1200 but is there any reason to why it wont work with an a1500/a200 system, when i plug it in nothing at all happens no pic?

Unusual. Both A1500 and A2000? Which model motherboard is it? What screen mode? All?

Does an RGB SCART cable work on that Amiga?

Have you turned the trim pot from start position to end; my A500 and A4000 had totally different trim positions, probably ten or twenty turns.
