OK, forget the above info.
I found some detailed instructions from yaqube on another thread here and managed to do an update of the PIC. The net result is that the new PICs from aCube do have the Tiny Bootloader code installed and will update via a null modem cable. What you do need is come quick fingers to stab that PGM RESET button on the Minimig while clicking the Check PIC and/or Write Flash buttons on the PC side. Cheers. :-) |
