I really need to start work on my new website. I will probably do most of it using a Macintosh/PC based solution, but I was interested in finding out whether there is much in the way of web page creation software for the Amiga.
Any suggestions? (for WYSIWYG type stuff, I'm not really bothered about writing all the HTML myself) Cheers Steve |

I will withhold comment on WYSIWYG editors in general :-)
There's no Amiga WYSIWYG worth talking about. There was something like MetalWeb I think but wasn't stable and generates HTML3 at best. GoldEd has a good HTML plugin but you're writing HTML then. If you want to create a website without writing HTML I'd actually recommend a CMS. |

If by CMS you mean Content Management System, that would not be possible as that will go against the whole idea of how the site is made, and I will probably be making it on a PC or a Macintosh anyway, so Amiga software isn't really important, but I thought I would see if anything was avaliable.

I'd suggest any text editor. WYSIWYG-editors still make so bad code that forget those
Clean and compact self made code is the best

If you have OS4, you can download Cygnix and use Amaya. Otherwise I think that all the WYSIWYG HTML tools are too old.
