I almost blew up my 1750 on the first test as my power adapter was +12VDC instead of +5VDC ops: The mistake is fixed and this extension cable has passed tests with multiple expansions, including the SuperCPU 128.

Thanks, I am quite fond of it so far :-D

As for energy? I have been working on it for 6+ weeks now, I am spreading it out over time and taking my time. It certainly has been a ton of labor, but when I start getting frustrated I walk away for a while. If it takes me another 2 months to finish, so be it.

You could do this, I am hoping others will get the bug to start actively using their own machines or starting projects. IMHO my project is quite ambitious, you don't have to go that extreme. Or of course you could try to one-up me and make an even better project ;-)

As this seems to be the most active C128 thread (and because Redrumloa actually sells these things), I've noticed that a lot of people on other forums are having trouble getting their MMC64Replay cartridges to run *.T64 tape images using the v0.07 T64PLGIN plugin (it freezes when attempting run run an image). I managed to track down an earlier one v0.04 (BIN only) and it works fine!

Also, I had hell mounting D64 images as virtual drives when setting the defaults 12/13 and a real 1571 FDD attached as device 8. Once I hardware changed the 1571 to device 10 then the problem went away and virtual disks mounted fine.

I am truly amazed. My hat's off to you. After looking this over, I may try to get my 21" Samsung SVGA to work with my C-128.
GEOS should fly on this machine! With a good laser printer, this setup will give you great printed output!
Now, what hard drive setup are you going to use?
