Default I want to learn to code plugins for aladdin 4d

hi:

Just as the title says. I know sas/c is the software required to code plugins for aladdin (open editor SDK), only thing is I do not know how to code in sas/c or any c dev language. Pls help me: What books can I get to learn how to program in sas/c and all necessary to code plugins for aladdin 4d? what maths knowledge? Mind me, i can only program in amospro, little pd games.
What do I need? pls help!!!
