Default G-Rex Ati Radeon 9200!!!!!!!!!!!!

so let me ask (Piru will probably give me the defining answer) would it be possible to run a ATI Radeon 9200 on a G-Rex a1200 with MOSPup. Is the only limiting factor the 3.3V if so hopefully use the proposed Elbox adaptor or build one.

It would be nice to have some working TerraTec 128i drivers for MOS too.

The 512i does not work in Grex1200 and there are no 128i MOS drivers around.

There is no OpenPCI driver for 128i (at least not on their page).

Even the Radeon 7000 PCi doesn't work, and it's PCI 5v.

Even with the 3.3V issue worked around there would still be the problem that MorphOS Radeon driver assumes that the card BIOS has been executed (it is executed by the openfirmware x86 emulation on pegasos and efika). G-Rex doesn't have this emulation.

The card BIOS sets up various onboard hardware components which are essential for proper function of the card. While it might be possible to add manual setup for these registers it would be very hard (and quite possibly impossible) to handle every possible card properly. Manual setup would involve trying to interpret the BIOS contents and poke the registers accordingly.

Does it work at the moment? No
Would it be in theory possible to fix it? Yes
Will MorphOS Radeon driver ever fix it? Unlikely

AFAIK Radeons dont work on MorphOS PowerUp due to missing BIOS initialization.
