DataFlyer SCSI/IDE & a cd writer
« on: March 09, 2008, 09:48:46 AM »

Hello,

I have a Data Flyer SCSI/IDE combo contoller installed in my A2000. I have not messed with it in many years. I intend to see if I can setup and mount a  IDE Cd-Writer I have in OS 2.1 so I can upgrade to 3.9. I never had any problems with SCSI devies but I remember trying to mount a IDE drive years ago and couldn't get it to work. Perhaps my lack of experience at the time. Seems to me It isn't neccessary to mess with HD Toolbox much.

Does anyone have experience with this controller? Also which cd mount utility(s) would you recommend? IDF X97, IDE`99  :-?

For the card itself, try to use the installer again to see if you miss something.

For the software, I recommend IDEfix97. IF you have no-go, try AsimCDFS.
Goodbye people.

I\'ll pop on from time to time, RL is acting up.
