Ok, here is your chance to own an AmigaOne XE G4 933Mhz PPC.  This is not my auction, I just found it during one of my strolls through eBay.  Take a look  HERE!
Amiga 4000T/60 - A2000/60 - 1200T/60, Soldered Up 3 x Minimig 1.1, Mac Mini 1.5 Running MacOSX/MOS 2.7-Registered

OK, let's take bets as to how much this will go for!

I'm guessing $800+, being as a PPC 240MHz expansion card recently went for $750. :-o

I'm guessing more, but we shall see. I'm certainly going to keep my eyes on this auction, although I have no intention of bidding.

Wow, that looks awesome. I bet that fan is really noisy though. Hmm.

Still, "shame" I am going on vacation this year, or I'd definitely try bidding...

Yea, I'd bet $1000+ which is sad because you can buy a better spec Mac for about $75-$150 or maybe free if you know the right person....

Stupid?

I paid about £500 for my A1 system back when they came out - the Early Bird offer.

Yet I could sell it now a few years later for pretty much the same price, despite having had a good few years with it.

Still think it's stupid?

Maybe someone who is selling quite a part of his/her hardware after a long period of collecting intensively? There's a guy who lives not too far from me (*pokes a not so random a.org member*) who has a massive Amiga collection. If he would decide to sell all of it at once on Ebay, there would be some 6 pages of his auctions alone I guess :-)

Worth is a subjective term. Something that I value highly may be of no interest to you.
