Default Delfina 26 pin connector

How do you attach the Delfina Flipper using the 26 pin connector?

According to the manual and various sites, it can but it doesn't say how to. The manual refers you to a non existant online manual so I'm a bit stumped.

There are no markings to indicate which pin is pin 1 on any of the Individual products that I have so I am a bit hesistant to try it and blow the damn thing up.

Does anyone know which way round the connector should go?

I know this is confusing. I had the same problem when installing a Delfina Flipper to an X-Surf. Although I'm not near my Amiga at the moment so that I can check physically, here are a few threads that helped me figure it out...

X Surf Clockport Pinouts for connecting Delfina?

X-Surf 3CC Network Card, Clock Ports, USB?

X-SurfII clockport pin 1 location

Hope this helps.

@sandpiper

Thx for that but it's the 26 pin header I want to use not the clockport.

I don't have a clockport but I do have a 26 pin header.

Individual computers site states

Quote:
This module has two interfaces to the computer: One clock-port for the A1200, and a 26-pin expansion port that is available on all our Zorro-cards
but gives no indication as to which way round the connector should go.

Sorry, I thought you meant clockport. I read the post too quickly I guess.

Good question about the 26 pin connector. I have never used it. I notice on Individual's website there is a writeup on using this port in the VarIO & Hyercom manuals. The Hypercom manual states that there are 2 ways of connecting the cable and both are ok. Hmmm. You could always contact Jens at Individual. He has always responded to emails from me.
