So it finally arrived in the mail today. Sim City Soc..Sci..Soceties, you know, Sim City 5.
Has anyone tried it yet? It reminded me for some reason of Sim City for the Commodore 64 and Sim City 512KB on the Amiga. Sure the resolution I am running is a bit higher than what the old C64 could handle, around 1400 x 1050 or something like that, but the icons and a lot of the graphics just had that, as I like to call it, solid and original feeling like I remembered in the first version. Well, I skipped the tutorial and started to mess around with it. After a few hour the conclusion is that this game seems pretty cool so far. |

The reviews haven't been very good for this game. I don't think I'll bother with it, even if I have fond memories of the first edition.
