Default null modem cable

I want to put a null modem cable between an amiga4000 Cyberstorm and an amiga1200 030 to read out the output from the cyberstormscsi controller.(it freezes boot somehow).
I found this thing on aminet:
http://www.aminet.net/package/docs/hard/SerialCable

Is the info from the picture and the text ok?
I can build me such a cable but don't want to risk blowing up my precious amiga hardware.

And what software is easy to use for this purpose?

Oh one other question why is it that even I set all units in the cyberstorm menu to off and there is nothing connected to the uwscsi(no cable at all) I get this yellow flashing ..NO devices attached stop scanning.

Building this by yourself will probably cost more than buying one !

Look here

Buy a 9pol->25pol. Adapter and everything is fine. For file transfer, "term" works fine.

You can use the Cloanto's cable information in order to make a DIY cable.

Linky link ;-)
