Left click the icon, go to the menu and select Icon > Information. Then drag the icon you want over the icon in the Information window, and the icon will change.

I haven't used 3.9 in  awhile, but I believe that if you open an information requester for the icon you wish to change you can then drag the icon you wish to replace it with into the requester (and drop over the icon preview in the top left hand corner) it will change the icon.

Failing that there are utilities on Aminet that will let you change icons quite easily.  I used one for years, but I can't remember what it is called.

I don't have the skills to go anywhere near IconEdit myself  But I've tried to make my OS3.9 look a bit different/better with some of Ken's Icons :-)

CopyIcon44 (beside Ram Disk in screengrab) is great for changing icons in OS3.5 and OS3.9. You simply drag and drop an icon you fancy into the left window, and then drag and drop the one you want changed into the right window.

My thanks again to the A.Org member Lurkist for making the cool 2GB Jaz drive icon for me :pint:

Is there another place to download the icons?  The site takes you to OS4Depot, which does not have the icons listed anymore.

Ah, yes.  Copyicon was the one I used.  Great little utility that is.

Hmmmm.... I've had a search but could not find a link to the icons by Ken Lester. I actually ended up back here at A.Org where I found post by Ken himself. Unfortunately the link in his post just leads back to the OS4 site.

As I'm no Internet wizz can anyone else be of help?

Oh.. The file we want is 'kens_icons3.lha' and is about 3.45MB in size.

@ webmany

I've found a copy of 'kens_icons3.lha' in the hard drive of an A4000 and sent it to the E-mail address in your profile. However, there appears to be no hard drive installer or documentation in the file. I suggest you just get CopyIcon44 from the link in my post above and manually change the ones you want to. It's dead easy and quite fun :-)
