Buy a dead or very yellow A500 on www.marktplaats.nl - you can use the PSU for your A1200. Shouldn't set you back more than 15 Euros.

The 500, 600, and 1200 power supplies are all compatible. Using a 500's PSU is better actually as it has way more power. A regular 1200 PSU can be too weak if you add an accelerator etc to your system.

Why didn't you ask me? ;-)
I have a converted 60 watt PC-type power supply which I don't use (I use a 200 watt PSU for my A1200). Works perfectly with any A500/600/1200 and is quite a lot more powerful than the standard A600/A1200 PSU. As you know, it's only a few kilometres from your house to mine... :-)
