Be very careful of the Sceptre monitors. I just got a Sceptre X7 17 inch LCD monitor because their specs also say it handles 15 KHz horizontal - so far, with an Amiga 1000, it does NOT.

The monitor you reference seems to be made for NTSC/PAL video and may accept RGB, but I don't want to be the first one to buy one and try.

They're at 15ms though, which is seriously slow. Since most people want a 15khz screen to play games, I'm not sure that a 15ms screen would be all that nice, it'll be ghosting like mad.

I disagree. I've got two LCDs (Samsung and Fujitsu-Siemens) with an average response time of 16ms and there's no ghosting whatsover (at least as far as I can tell)

I have even seen LCDs with quoted 20ms that were fine.

IMHO the question we should be asking about those monitors is: do they support 15Khz through their main (VGA/DVI) connector, or is it through some SCART/s-video/composite port (implying a makeshift scandoubler and horrible loss of quality)?
