Can I use this to connect A2065 card (that has BNC connector) to my (UTP) router?

Link you posted comes up blank.

The A2065 should have an AUI connector as well. It's the 15 pin D-sub port next to the BNC connector. What you need is an AUI to UTP transceiver, such as this.

no transceiver, I plan on using 3com 3c16701 hub that has BNC connector as well as UTP ones.

What do you mean? The card does not have AUI or you don't want one?

Yeah, an old hub like that will work. Using a transceiver takes up less space and is a more elegant solution though.

I have a boxed AUI to UTP tranceiver here you can have for free, if you want it.

I thought hub would be better solution if I happen to one day buy another BNC card for my other Amiga. BTW, is there any difference in speed between AUI and BNC? or any other significant diff?

@Colmiga
since your offer is free, I'm tempted, how much would shipping to Serbia cost?

There is no difference in speed unless your card supports full duplex (which an A2065 doesn't, since it doesn't have TP to begin with). With full duplex, you can send and receive simultaneously.

BTW, you do know that you need to terminate your BNC connection, don't you?

RG58 cable really sucks (bad to crimp and you need a T-adapter on each port + terminators at the ends).
I'm using an AUI->TP transceiver with my A2065 (3€ on ebay). Only drawback is that thing sticking out of Amy's back. ;-)

BTW: In theory the A2065's AUI port could even support full duplex - but it pretty surely doesn't.

For sure. If you don't have 2 T adaptors and 2 terminators, factor those into your costs. You can't just plug those cables directly in. :-)

But the BNC port works great on the 2065 card. Just set the jumpers, plug it all together, and away ya go. I ran mine like that for a couple years before I finally got rid of my old 10-b-T hub that had a BNC port.
