Expansion Systems Dataflyer IDE help
«
on:

I am trying to get my Dataflier IDE card working in my A2000 with 040 and OS 3.9, no luck. Maybe the IDE drives are too newish? But I cannot even see the device driver in the OS. I googled and found it should be expsys.device but dont see it! Anyone have any info or a manual handy???

It's a disk-only driver (not in ROM), so you'll need an install disk. I've got 2 versions for the A1200 SCSI Dataflyer, but I don't know if they'll work with the card you're using. Let me know if you want to give them a try.
EDIT:
This
will probably help.

I got the disk DATAFLYER_IDE.DMS from that site and there is no driver on the disk! Only a prep tool and it says A600/1200 install or something like that! No device drivers... Anyone have it?

The other Dataflyer disks there have ExpXDS.device on them, but they seem to be pretty specific to 600/1200/4000 use. Are you sure that's the driver you need? Specficially, which Dataflyer do you have? Got a BBoAH link?

Link.

Grab the install disk here:
amiga.resource.cx/exp/dataflyer2000plus
The card is autobooting, see the largest chip on the card marked as "auto-boot":
amiga.resource.cx/photos/dataflyer2000plus,DataFlyerPlusIDE
