Default PSU smaller than Micro-ATX

Is there a power supply which is smaller than Micro ATX? I have already tried the PicoPSU inverter board but it doesn't supply enough current for the machine I need to power, but a Micro ATX power supply is too large to fit in the case I am using.

Don't know what the current characteristics are, but this one supplies 120W power.

They seem to have a few different models here including the PicoPSU you tried.

Regards

Rich

Thanks Rich. Not sure that will provide enough current and it is quite expensive, but I'll look in to it. Any other suggestions anyone?

Cheers

How small is small ? (cm or inches what ever floats your boat).

And how much power do you need ?

I once bought an mATX PSU (for a project never to be) which is somewhat smaller than the PSU in the ODW (AOpen-mATX case).

Well, a mATX PSU is 125mm wide x 80mm high x 102mm deep. The height is ok for my needs, but it's a bit too wide and a bit too deep.

There's no µATX standard for PSUs...

SFX is 125x100x50/63.5mm.

Here's a guide to standardized form factors.

I've got a bunch of ca. 50x50x90 PSUs (fit in HP Brios) that are free for postage, but they're only 100W.

@Zac
That PSU you linked to is what I've already got, and it's too big. The HP Brio PSU would fit but woudn't be powerful enough. Looks like I might need to get a new case :-(
