Hello

I don't get it .
Wich computer that you can buy , can run OS 4.0?
I searced for power pc and i see that it is always an Apple computer? or a strange old computer .
On wich system can i install OS4.0 ?

I sended a email months ago to the developers of OS 4 , but no reaction and on their site nothing is changing.

Currently you can't buy any computer hardware to run Amiga OS4 on, unless it is a used computer that someone else already has installed Amiga OS4, such as an Amiga One.

We are all waiting for new hardware to be available.

There aren't any, anymore. The AmigaOne by Eyetech was the only one and it went out of production years ago. You might be able to pick up one used on Ebay, but beware - the AmigaOne systems are plagued with hardware bugs.

Recently Amiga Inc. has joined forces with ACK Software Controls and they are claiming to be working on a new PPC hardware system, but no information on what OS it will use, if it even sees the light of day.

No surprise there. A few months ago one of them was bragging about how he never reads his email.

LOL, good question. YOu should ask Bill McEwen over at amiga INC what the hell is going on.....
OS4 while coded years ago and finaly compleated with most likely never hit the steets. The cool news is who cares amiga 3.1 -3.9 work well on most classics!
And if you realy need to run some wired PPC thing you can run unbuntu as a real OS and MORPHOS if you want and oldschool amiga feel OS.... not bad.

I think it'd be far more accurate to say that the AmigaOne hardware bugs are occasionally plagued by a computer system!
