Scala dongles - What color for which version?
« on: February 22, 2007, 03:03:14 PM »
Hi Y'all

I just bought a set of Scala MM300 off eBay that came with a red dongle & a 2 disk upgrade to MM400. After installing MM300, it won't recognize the dongle regardless of which joystick port I use. Does anyone know if the red dongle was compatible with this version, or was there another one for MM300 & above(green?). Also, does anyone know if there are conflicts between Scala and more 'moderne' Amiga hardware, like the Highway USB card or the PIV video card? Just drawing straws. FYI - the mouse DOES work with red dongle installed. TIA folks!

Hi.

I have a red dongle too. I got it with my A4000.
My Scala disk are stored away, but i think i have MM200/400
Can't remember but I sure is not MM300. This scala i got was bundle with the A4000.

I have no problems with my dongle installed in the mouse port.
