'Tis -22C(-8F) here right now. Why do I have Spring Fever?

Winter? Pah!

It got to 31.1°C here outside today (summer, no wind, no clouds!)

I'll trade you some of the heat here for some of your cooler temperatures! EDIT: but not too much, -22 is REALLY cold!!!

Heh! Anything above 30°C is too hot for me!

Then again, I come from the UK where summers are grey and wet!

Any time it's anything between 4C and 44C I am very content. Except of course, it's always windy when it's cold, and there's never a breeze when it's hot.

It was -30C this morning.. It's not to where I'm hurting, but I'm not exactly enjoying it either. Can't complain too much. We've been spoiled with a few mild winters.

Umm... I've always believed that to be highly unlikely. I hope that's true!

Snooow! I like snow!!! We don't get it in Nelson but plenty usually falls on the nearby mountains. Last year's winter minimum was either 0°C or -1°C, but due to NZ's draughty old houses with no central heating or double glazing, and some with no insulation, it can feel more like -20°C!

31.3°C here today, another hot one! 28.8°C in my home office at the moment... One of the PCs doesn't like it and the BIOS temperature alarm keeps going off!

Looking out the window, it must've snowed overnight here. It's that or a really heavy frost, and therein lies the rub. If it's going to snow, it should really snow. All this half-arsed "snowfall" does is have me bricking it riding into work.

I used to love snow, not the horrible gritty grey mush we seem to get now.

The merest sniff of snow in the UK brings chaos as no-one here can drive in the stuff. If it snows tonight I'm cycling tomorrow!

all we need is a milimeter of snow here and the whole county shuts down. reason being nobody in georgia seems to know how to drive when it snows. snow is such a rarity here where i am.

By me, when it snows 2cm, they pour down 4cm of salt, long political story. The result is that plant life on the sides of the road dies, my cars rot, and the roads are sloppy and slippery.
