Hi there,
Well, the G-Rex 4000D arrived with all the cards etc. ![]() Very pleased with it so far. I'm just trying to iron out one or two kinks. On my desktop which has CyberGraphX 4.x with all the updates etc, using the Voodoo3 3000, my mouse pointer looks strange. The black parts of the pointer change color depending on what I hover over; the color changes to a negative of whatever it is I'm hovering over. I've seen some pointers on Aminet which are 2-color monochrome pointers designed for CGX and don't use the "corrupt color register". Is that what this is? This didn't happen when I was using my CyberVision PPC - is this normal/expected behaviour? Very minor, but curious if anything. Everything else about the Voodoo's display output is just great though, screen drawing - 2D and 3D - is much faster than the CyberVision.
