I just got myself a Picasso IV for my A4000D, and I ran into a strange problem: The mouse pointer disappears after running demos using regular AGA screenmodes!

I boot into Workbench, which uses Picasso96. I tried running various demos, but after a demo is finished, the mouse pointer disappears. I tested Ozone - Smokebomb yesterday, and I know for a fact that this has never given me any problems before I used PicassoIV/Picasso96.

I must admit that I cheated a bit during the installation. I formatted the whole DH0 partition and installed Classic Workbench P96.
After that, I installed the Picasso IV drivers from floppy.

Everything else seems to be working fine. Do I have some configuration/driver problems due to my little "shortcut"? Hardware problems? Something else? :-)

P4Info can be found in the archive P4Update_v7.4.zip

Maybe you need to update the flash or your flicker fixer has lost it's settings etc.

You could also check if you have some special mouse drivers/utilities/patches running, but this is just a guess.

That's a common behaviour of RTG Cards after running a demo.

If you press right-Amiga E to execute a command the mouse pointer will probably show up.

@alexh: Do you have any other locations from which P4Update_v7.4.zip can be downloaded?
