Ok ppl, anybody could help me with this I can't thank him enough. Simply put, everything seems like installed fine, but not working. I have tried both my mediators to no avail, so it mustn't be it. I've just installed a Voodoo 4500 and soundblaster 128, both supported by mediator, but while pciinfo detects them fine they won't work. I've tried removing sb128 and leaving voodoo alone, but no luck. Here's what I've done so far:
- tried all the jumper positions/combinations possible - installed os 3.9 fresh - installed latest p96 - installed latest mediator drivers - tried all AHI versions - tried all mixers available for the soundcard - all players I try crash as soon as I chose a SB ahi mode or report a can't open device error - I installed the gfx driver step by step as suggested in the guide, yet I get a no board attached at the top menu. P96 only sees a Village-64 card which I assume is its default since I can't get no usable modes out of it. - my system is: A1200 in infinitive tower Blizzard 1260@50 / 128mb ram/ maprom enabled fastata mk 3 cocolino ps2 mouse adapter lyra keyboard adapter motherboard is 2b and has all required fixes pcmcia ethernet mediator config: mmu=yes voodoomem=32 (tried 30 and 31 too) voodooint=yes warp3d=no right now the mem window is set to 4mb as suggested by medconfig. help if u can, thx! EDIT: Also medication crashes when I run it and while I have no cybergraphics library anywhere on my system, after the voodoo monitor is executed I see with scout that there's cybergraphics.library 41.4 and cgxvideo.library 41.6 in memory (!?!) |

paula, sb128, filesave and fm801 and their respective .audio files.
tried to leave only sb128, same problem. One thing tho: I get all the sb modes in ahi but in addition to sb128 modes, I also get sb128_1 modes (the very same, just sb128_1 before the mode name). That also seems strange.... |

right now latest from aminet, but I've tried 5.7 and latest 4.x too without any notable differences to the result, including the weird sb128_1 modes

Also not sure why it's showng the village tronic.
When installing P96, did you select CyberVision64/3d? Then rename it to Voodoo in Workbench evs/Monitors?

@Vulture
I once tried to use a Voodoo 4 in a similar setup (A1200, Blizzard 1260, Mediator) but the Voodoo 4 simply wouldn't work. Worked first try in my A4000, CSPPC, Mediator. If you have one of the old Mediator 1200 it most likely won't work ever, even with updated MACH chips. Try to get hold of a Voodoo 3 instead. Voodoo 4 and 5 are using Voodoo 3 emulation anyway, so unless there is a good reason for using more than 16 MB of graphics ram, it might be an easier way of getting it up and running. |

I have a system almost Identical to yours except it has a blizzard ppc and voodoo 5500. First off when installing picasso choose non-mmu, and memory jumper should be on 8meg setting. Please check this guide carefully, and jumper settings. Should work!

Yes, board must be mounted correctly with proper spacers, I made my own as those provided in the mediator kept the board from seating properly. I noticed that while assembling the tower.
