Default Amiga keyboard schematics

Hello,

does it exist a schematic of the Amiga keyboard, in particular the one used with the CDTV.

My one has two one not working keys, in the numeric pad it is key '3', and would like to know what hardware relates to it in case it is not a problem of rubbish.

If it's only one key, then it's most likely a worn conductive pad inside the key mechanism (or crap between the pad and the membrane stopping it making contact)

If it was a problem with the keyboard membrane or keyboard controller, then you'd most likely notice many keys on the same row not working.

I suggest cleaning it with a little cotton stick and just a drop of water.

Might be dirt that has come between the contacts.

I've seem this, too. The conductive pad on the bottom of the key begins to wear away and the key becomes intermittant. Try not to clean with anything harsh, that made mine worse.

It would be cool if the pad could be re-constituted with sticky stuff and graphite... Or some other method.

There is a product that can reconstitute the contacts on a keyboard.

I once had rebuilt the pads of an old CBM 8032 computer by glueing small pieces of aluminium paper (the one used for food) on the old pads. Don't know if it would work for an Amiga keyboard too, never disassembled one.

Will try cleaning that key, thank you guys!
