if you have the adapter for it the old NEC Multisync used to be one of the best for all Amiga screen modes

Get a flickerfixer/Scandoubler and you can run a huge LCD flat screen with your miggy!

If you're only using your Amiga for games and simple workbench stuff, you should look out for a cheap Commodore 1084 monitor. There are still a lot of these around...
Shouldn't set you back for more than 15 Euros/20 dollars.

If I'm not mistaken I have 6 of those on a shelf in my basement. They're never used, so for packaging and postage I could send you one.
Don't know how I should get it packaged thorougly, though. But I guess my post office could help there ![]() With danish postal fees 15 to 20 euros is probably what it would cost you (haven't checked, though). |

Hi,
Not sure if the Acorn Archimedes ever made it to Australia, but if so, you can often find cheap Acorn-branded monitors that are re-badged Microvitec 1438s, and compatible with all OCS/ECS/AGA modes including those at 15KHz. The monitors are a bit basic, but will go up to 800x600 @ 60Hz. Check eBay and any local education establishments! Or, if you can persuade an NZ seller to ship to Australia, check TradeMe (and in this case, the monitor comes with a free computer!) - Ali |
