Deluxe Music Contruction Set -- Music sheets anyone?
« on: September 19, 2006, 12:40:03 AM »
Does anyone have a bunch of Music/Scores they created in DMCS? I just have the basics that came on the two disk set.

I am listening to Baricades Misterieuses right now ;)

I transcribed a Bach Cantata and a few other songs. The damn thing wouldn't print out though.

Not quite a bunch. I'm not sure that Yahoo! would let me upload them to my Geocities site.

Hi,

I love Deluxe Music Construction Set, especially the demo scores, which feature beautiful and not so common works, nicely transcribed and arranged.

I wrote two very short musics with this program, when I was 16 : I will send them to you when I find them.

I would have prefered uploading them to Aminet, but reading the instructions on how to do so was like reading ancient Sumerian.

You'll see something in your box in a day or two. I think that the instruments used are the standard included with the program.

My program came with the A1000 I bought along with an old Okidata color printer. It could print then.

@sdyates

I replied to your post on EAB, but I guess you didn't see it. I also have some small DMCS scores that I wrote years ago.

I am also interested in hearing other people's original DMCS compositions. It would be nice if everybody can upload their scores to the EAB Zone. That way other interested people can download.

Sorry, I usually assume people are members of both boards (the only two Amiga boards I've found worth using). EAB is good because it has a convenient file sharing area. It's nicer than sending back and forth to email addresses.

Hey Amiduffer, which Bach cantata did you transcribe? Maybe the Bach piece I have was made by you. The only three DMCS scores I like, that were made by other people are "Baricades Misterieuses", "Passacaglia" and a piece titled "Bach".

Oh yes, a Bach piece was included with DMCS. The one I transcribed is still on my floppy, though.

I signed for AEB awhile ago when I signed up with Amiga.org, but since it seemed to be mostly about games, I lost interest. It seems a little complicated, all the rules.

Ok, your songs have been emailed. If anyone else wants them, Pmail me your email. The songs that I transcribed were:

Bach Fugue #1
Santa Lucia (old Neopolitan song you can sing along with)
I Wonder As I Wander (Niles, old folk song)
Es Mus Sein (Beethoven, sing along!)
Bach Cantata

Hey Sdyates, what did you think? I've never gotten feedback on stuff like this, so be the first.
