Default CrossDoss

hi!
i have an a2000 now expanded w a gvp controller an k.start3.1
i 'cant load my gvp drivers from a original floppy
i have the adf image and all software i need
but...
cross doss dn't work
i have copied from dosdriver the PC0 in the floppy wb3.1 dosdrivers folder and now? i cant read fat 780 floppies

crossdoss need the wb installed on drive?
i have only one floppy drive it's a problem?

can help me?

As well as PC0 you need CrossDosFileSystem etc copied to the L folder as well for it to work. Possible a file in Devs as well e.g mfm.device or something like that.

i have try to copy mfm.device and the pc0 to L: but
at reboot from floppy i'cant see the dos device
i have try to ..mount <pc0> from shell and
workbench speak me 'the device is already mounted'
i can't find it

i think to buy a crossdos disk from ebay
i think already be exist a solution whithout crossdos
whit only wb3.1 disks

If its a standard 3.1 install you are correct, you should only need to copy over PC0 and it work.

PC0 should be in DEVSOSDrivers, CrossDOSFileSystem in L: and mfm.device needs to be in DEVS:. Make sure they are all in the right places as that would be the most obvious problem.

Also are you using your DF0 floppy drive btw?
If you are using drive DF1 then it would be PC1 you copy over instead.
