whats your favorite app? Right now mine is VistaPro ... but there are others for sure.
I wonder what other people like. It would be fun to a list of realy quality apps that stood the test of time.

mine's the development entvironment, word-processor, database and ascii art application named vim which was not really an amiga app, but was ported years ago and runs fine on amiga

Oh, the things one can accomplish with KingCON, ARexx and gcc...

And I still use Cinema4D for 3D stuff, with PPaint textures and DPaint tiling textures.

OctaMED Sound Studio has one of my tracks half done, but I'll probably finish it in Acid Pro or QBase. *tears of shame welling in eyes*

Yep, I generally vote for stuff I am comfortable with.

Fantastic Dreams is up there. Its not really all that useful per se, but it is definately fun! Good *wow* effect for showcasing the Amiga to uninitiated friends and family. "THAT'S a COMMODORE???"

Real3d 3.5 and Imagine 5.17 -- Not so fun, but ultimately powerful, especially used with AREXX, RPL, and Magellan 5.82.

StormC4 very nice, too.

WHDLoad makes playing games from hard drive so easy. I'm very grateful to all of the developers for their work on this app.

Powericons lets me use beautiful PNG icons on my Workbench.

OctaMED SoundStudio will probably make it on to my list when I have figured out how it works

Ali, do you know of any good tutorials for the Amiga version of OctaMED SS? I find the interface confusing with all those numbers everywhere. I'm a musician not a mathematician :-)

Dopus - I reckon workbench is unusable without. ImageFX and Pagestream are the killer apps in my opinion.
