Default Amiga & 2 PCMCIA slots

Is there any way to connect 2 pcmcia cards in towerized A1200 with zorro III? Is it possible to use a PCI Cardbus-adapter with Amy?

It's a PCMCIA slot (i.e. ISA style) and does not support more modern Cardbus (i.e. PCI style) cards.

For PCI you'd need a PCI busboard (Mediator, Prometheus).

AFAIK there are no drivers for PCI CardBus controllers. You would have to replace the CardBus device with a PCI equivalent which has Amiga drivers.

Hmm, aren't Cardbus and PCI electrically the same?

You can connect a PCMCIA card reader to a SCSI bus but I think this would be for reading and writing memory cards. I doubt you'd be able to somehow plug a PCMCIA ethernet adaptor into a SCSI PCMCIA reader.

Interesting thought though... just as adding SCSI to a CD32 would be if you used an SX32-Pro with a Dataflyer SCSI on it's internal IDE interface...
