Greetings again:
Wow I am just thinking way ahead here, however, I might want to place my new A3k into a tower case and wondered what the process would be. The case is a really pretty red ATX mid tower case that I think would look killer. Pictured here: http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=XK-RE1&cat=CAS Would this be possible and what are the steps we need to do? Obviously the case takes a ATX power supply. Fun project I am sure. Really buying the A3k with the idea of running OS4 one day... maybe should be concentrating on A1 board? Though cost is a very big deal right now. Anyhow, advise welcome on this. Thanks, Mike

I can´t help you out on the details of getting everything connected but I do know that the power connector to the motherboard of an A3000 looks the same as the one on the A4000, and for that A4000 you can get an ATX-to-A4000 adapter, bought one for 20 Euro inclusive shipping from a UK seller on Ebay. I see also this adaper at Elbox for A4000, but I really am not sure if it will also work on an A3000. Can anybody confirm or deny this ??? :-?

No, the power connector for the A3000 is very different to the one of the A4000. That doesn't mean it can't be done though, but wou'll have to do all the wiring yourself.
Also, remember that the A3000 does not work without the daughterboard, you would either have to fit the original in the towercase and turning the tower's backplates 90 degrees or buy a replacement daughterboard specially for towers (like the Elbox Mediator one)
