Default AmosPro on AmiKit

Hi all, I think I will get a negative answere to this, but all the same I will ask.
Has any one had any luck with AmosPro on AmiKit?
I know there are a few programs that require a 15Khz mode that do run under AmiKit.
But has any one done this yet, I did try but when I tried to Install the first disk it went black then thta was it, notyhing after that.

TIA,

Mike.

I've got AmosPro 2.0 working on WinUAE but installing it from the disk images on Back2Roots was a pain. BTW, AmosPro beats the hardware mercilessly so it won't work under the Picasso96 emulation on WinUAE. You have to use the ECS chipset emulation. (Technically I've got the AGA emulation working but it isn't supported by most Amos extensions so just sticking to ECS will be fine.)

Did AmosPro ever get released with AGA support? I read that it was being worked on long ago and I think almost finished, but I have never seen it, so I guess that maybe it never was finished.

With WinUAE properly setup I would think AmosPro might run okay, but I doubt it will work on AmiKit without major changes to the default setup provided with AmiKit.

Surely Blitz Basic 2 is going to be more fun than Amos? Commercial stuff has been published that was programmed on Blitz!

There are commercial AMOS games too (from Vulcan, etc.).

The only way to access the AGA chipset on AmosPro was with some extensions. Stay tuned for Mattathias Basic with regards to getting Amos programs to work on newer systems.
