Default AmIRC
AmIRC always crashes when I exit or save settings, unvalidating the partition.
I have tried saving the settings to ram: thinking I had a bad sector or something, but that didn't help
any ideas out there as to how to fix this or anyone else having the same problem?

Which version are you using? Is it registered, and did you update it with the latest update from their site?

Are you using that muimaster patch from aminet?

I havent used it in many years but i remember that it was an evil patch that caused problems with some programs, and amirc was one of them

It is version 3.5, registered in my name. I had the problem before the latest update, I hoped the update would change things, it didn't.

I do see a muimaster.library and a muimaster.library.old.11.20.01

OMG! after years of frustration! you fixed it! hats off, muimaster.libray!
