Hi to all! The fool who owns this site is me!!!  :-P

I see that you have some problem... why you not email me? I'm ever at your service. :-)

Is so strange, the links works well.... the six-part links are hosted on rapidshare, maybe your provider have problem with their software.... the other two are eD2K links, that mean you have to install on your computer a file-sharing client named emule.

If you want, I may upload them on megaupload.com, would you?

Best regards.  :-)  :-)  :-)

Hi,

I've always wondered what package on the Amiga side of things was used to create CDXL movies... Does anyone know?

Also, is it possible to create these on a PC?

Or will anything on a PC read/convert them to AVI or MPEG?

Regards,

whole package is on developers CD, and if you use ir with cdgsxlgui (aminet?) its very easy to convert anyhing into cdxl format, i have some musicvideos converted just for fun, it works great!
too lazy to use shift key properly...

to Effy: maybe you use AOL as provider, or other similar that use a proxy to permit navigation to you.... in this manner rapidshare don't recognize your computer and the download doesn't start at all.
Why don't try emule? you'll find there much more stuff than my poor CDXLs

If you (or some others) want, I can try to upload them on megaupload, try this to test if it works to you (it's a little jpeg of an Aika cover).

See ya!  :-)

to InTheSand: to be onest, don't exist any direct avi or mpg to cdxl converter, you must extract images and audio and convert them in iff (graphical and 8svx) to make the final cdxl by a command (or by cdgsxl toolkit).

Be patient, I'm writing a tutorial that explain my method of conversion.

Hi,

I look forward to seeing your tutorial!

I'd like to get some of my home video stuff running on the Amiga - just for the sake of it and not for any particular reason! It's currently in MPEG2 format, but I can convert it to something more Amiga-friendly.

I can't find any free tools to create CDXL files, or even any detailed documentation on how the format is constructed - unless I'm looking in the wrong places!

Regards,

 - Ali

Sorry, I think that it's not possible.
You need the "Amiga Developer CD-Rom" by Pantaray Inc. to obtain at least xlmake and xlaudio.... I don't think that this is for free...
Maybe softhut still sale it?  :-?

My site is updated!
The tutorial is not yet available, it will soon... I promise.  :-P

By the way, you can enjoy the 3rd CD of "Aika: New Missions".

Bye!

Hmm... Is it this CD?

If so, Softhut's description makes no mention of CDXL or Pantaray!
