Default To the trash

If no one wants to buy the huge collection of floppies I have for the A1000/500/2000, and the A500, all of it will go to the trash.

I never understood why someone who intends to throw something away, just doesn't give it away in the first place??? :-? :-? :-?

My question is aimed more at...

Have you told anyone of this huge collection and how much you're asking for it all? I just browsed the main webpage here, saw your post, and still am clueless about what you have and what you want for it... Perhaps a link would be in order... Or something....

Kinda like on ebay, people list crap and say if it doesn't sell it goes in the dumpster. WTF! If you are going to throw it away don't charge for it!!!

Not saying this is what the OP is doing just a rant...

Depending on where you live, if you're going to just throw it away, tell me where in Texas you are and if I can, I'll just pick it up. At least you'll be donating it to an Amigan, who would like to get an a500. I just don't have the money to buy anything right now.

I can't even afford to fix the shocks on my car right now. :-(

@AmigaFreak

You sound like a {bleep}. If you're going to throw it away give it away, if you can't sell it then it's probably not worth any money, but it's probably worth someones pleasure of using it.

That's the attitude that's helped kill our little community.

You don't want it, so you're willing to waste it, unless you can make a profit from it.

Greed....such a sad way of life. I truly pity you. :-(

Since you've posted no details, it sounds like you've already
walked it out to the curb and are letting the garbage man
mooch it for free. Or are you going to charge the garbage
collector $30 to pick up your trash this week?

I hope someone nearby who's interested can work out a deal.

take it easy on the kid..

the stuff I gave him was a whole bunch of fred fish disks..if there were some commercial games I'd rather he test it because I got it for free but some of the games might not work.

Hmmmm...I can't see where your going with this statement, as it makes no real sense, whats the difference between throwing something in the bin and getting nothing, and throwing it in someones boot and getting nothing? My point was, if your willing to part with it for nothing if nobody offers you anything for it then why not then just let someone have it? It's the right thing to do.

I wonder what your thoughts are on the money or the old kids clothes I give to charity and friends in need each year?
