Default Blizzard 1230-II issue of missing MACH chip

Hi all.
I just bought from a guy from Slovakia /thru Amibench/
Blizzard 1230-II, but it does not work.
Power led light only at half and miggy doesnot boot.
So i was open trapdoor and saw this:

Is there any chance to get a replacement chip or this turboboard already lost his fight?

or is it a normal state?

since I don't own a Blizzard board I might be wrong. But I came across a mach chip of a different kind on another board. After doing a search I found this to be a programmable device.

Most turbo boards I have seen had programmable devices (PLA, PLD, FPGA...) somewhere on the board. So it is likely this is what you are looking for.

The problem is there is no way to know what to program in such a device unless you know the complete design of the specific board.

So your only option is to slavage one from a defective board and pray the thing is allright.
Or find a way to copy the contents of the programmable device into a compatible one. But that would be far fetched.

If I were you I would keep this board in case you would come across the solution some day.

good luck.

Ok, i will keep it, but price seems to be too high (50€) for a dead board :/
