Voyager Web Browser KeyFile Help
« on: July 09, 2005, 02:07:03 PM »
Hi -

I've been experimenting with different Web Browsers for the Amiga.  Most are evaluation copies that are available on Aminet which are somewhat crippled pending the purchase of the keyfile.

The Voyager browser works fine and I've contacted Vapor Software to register it.  They no longer accept money for the software (no longer developed / supported) but very kindly just send along the keyfile !

I've stuck the key file in the Voyager folder, S: directory and a bunch of different places (don't ask ! ) but it still comes up in Demo mode.

Has anybody had success installing the keyfile?  Any tips are appreciated.
Amiga 4000D/040 Warp Engine/SCSI-CD/Cybergraphic64/X-Surf
Amiga 1200T 060/60 PPC603e BVision and more

Amiga 2500 stock 2630 GVP HC+8(4)CD-ROM

Try L:, I think that's where keyfiles usually go.

Keyfiles usually go in S: and some goes to L:. Place your keyfile in S: and make sure it is called Voyager-3.key. Hopefully it will work then.

What I´m wondering about is since they wanted to give the keyfile to you for free, why they don´t upload a public keyfile to Aminet :-?

Yes, they should give away the key now that they dont care about the project anymore!

Last time I visited the Vapor site, they were giving away the keyfiles for just about every Amiga app they had.

You can always try SnoopDos and see where Voyager is looking for it's Keyfile.
Slightly bored and severly confused..
