Today i was upraded one of my A1200 (1D4) 3.0 roms with brand new 3.1 roms (from Slovakia, huh), and hell starts here: Prepcard says No PCMCIA slot innstalled (or similar, i have localized version of WB).
There is Apollo 1230LC installed too, with 8MB SIMM (maximum).
And memory problem appear here: I can use only 4MB with 3.1, but with 3.0 everything works fine.
So, is there any hack or some posibility how to use all 8MB?
Whats with damn 3.1 ROM chips? ((

Are there any part numbers or markings on the roms?

Open up a CLI and type version carddisk.device
If it can't find it, it's more than likely you've got the A4000 roms instead of the A1200 ones. :-(

carddisk.device 40.1 with 4MB fast it works, but i need more ram it seems i must sell apollo and i will look for blizzard 1230 damn

no problem :-D , so solution will be another turbine, but where ican buy it for a bargain price? And what is good price? Somewhera around $50, or $70? i cant pay via paypal, international monez transfer cost here about $10, postage will be $10 too ( IF! i found somebody who can send it into Czech republic). oh damn, im cryin on false grave (( :-? :-? :-? :-x :-x :-x
