Default copy & paste

Feels like a newbie question this one but since I've been mouse right click brain damaged by PC I have to ask this:

how do I copy and paste on an amiga? is it right or left amiga button and P for "paste"?

Right-Amiga + P would probably be print ;-)

Shortcut keys are basically the same on both PCs and Amigas thankfully :-)

You might want to check PowerSnap for an even greater copy'n'paste experience.

I wished they were!

There`s one big difference:
Cut`n`paste on the PC is more convenient, as you can operate the <CTRL> and <X/C/V> keys with the left hand,
while you can use your right hand to mark the text and to position the cursor.

On the Amiga you have to mark the text with the mouse/right hand, and then again use the right hand to press the keys.

So I would say there`s a very basic difference...

Does anyone know if this will change for the better with OS4?

@Dandy:

I completely agree. I wish Left Amiga button were used, instead of the right one. Things are so unnecessarily more difficult, the way it's currently set up. :-(

What's wrong with using your left hand? Left thumb on R-Amiga and left pinkie on C or V.

That's the way I do it anyway - my hand doesn't leave the mouse unless I'm typing like this. Any shortcuts on Miggy or PC I always use my left hand :-D

Oh, I'm right handed too btw incase you wondered :-)
