If you want extra memory, get a ram board...

The BVision is a Graphics card, not a memory card, if it's outputting a signal, it's working.

It does. But that is just for Graphics on the BVision.

Having a flicker fixer will not cause any problems with a BVision - I have an internal flicker fixer fitted that's waiting on a second monitor so I can still see all my AGA stuff without having to resort to a 20 year old 14" portable with a reasonably crap picture ;-)

Title bar ;-)

Nope it doesn't. The only way you'd know is once you've loaded WorkBench you should have 2MB chip ram free no matter what resolution/colour amount you are using.

Aaaaah, you're puzzled by the 'graphics memory' thingy at the top. That just says how much chip memory (i.e. chips soldered on your Amiga's motherboard) you have free, whereas the 'other mem' says how much fast ram you have free (the SIMMs on your Blizzard).

The amount of gfx ram free on your BVision doesn't show anywhere. It is also not used for storing/executing programs, just for storing the 'picture' that gets sent to the attached monitor.

sheepz . . . actually you aren't using the BVision ATM!

Goto SYS:Prefs/Screenmode and chose a BVision mode (what you want) and do a "Test" (don't Save).

When you are 101% sure that the screen mode works fine with your monitor (a VGA i suppose), then Save the new screenmode.
