I am waiting for the said board to arrive but I wonder if thereŽll be any heat issues when used in a stock desktop? I have a few Zorro boards already installed (PIV, Powerflyer, IOBlix).

I ran a CS Mk2 060/66MHz for a few months with no problems. I now have a passively cooled Mk3 060/50MHz in there with no heat problems.

I'm running with a CSMKII 060@50Mhz in mine with no problems. However I have put a small fan with low rotation (12v fan at 7v)on the 060, but it is not something you need.

I had a MK2 060@60Mhz in my A3000D (Yes that's right) for years and it ran perfectly. No fan/heat sync either! It's in my 3000T now since that is a "cooler" machine.

I should be able to overclock it too? Any links to a guide on overclocking a Mk II? I have never overclocked a board before.

CSMK2 was designed with A4000D in mind, so it's best compatible with it, as if you ever wish to attach the optional SCSI module, the fitting is most user friendly with A4000D systems as the included external connector SCSI backplate was made to fit with A4000D case in mind.
A3000, A3000T, and A4000T are all also compatible, however fitting and using the CyberSCSI module with those is a little more user-unfriendly, due to the specific design of the SCSI external connector plate. |

I'm not really fussed about SCSI as I have a Powerflyer so I get good read/write speeds without. Just wondering about overclocking now that I know that heat isn't so much of an issue...

I overclocked my MKII for a while. It is a simple matter of changing the oscillator on the board. Your stock MKII will have a 50mHz oscillator and you just need to get a 60mHz one. Make sure you get the right type. There was another thread where a user asked what sort to get, but I can't remember the thread title. Redrumloa or AmigaKit should be able to get the right oscillator for you. It is the rectangular one not the square one. Its exactly like the 50mHz one on your card, but it is 60mHz. If you overclock, you might get crashes if your SIMMS aren't fast enough and you definitely will get cashes with the SCSI module attached.
