Default supergen sx

I recently acquired a Supergen SX. I have a Supergen, the regular kind, and it's attendent software. I liked the thing so much that when I saw the "SX" version I grabbed it cheap. Trouble is, the seller negelected to answer my question about the software that comes with it. In my case, it did NOT come with any software. I suspect that my older Supergen software will not run the SX version or at least will not do any of the fancy stuff that the SX version had. So I was wondering if anybody had a copy of the Supergen SX software? I have a lot of software I could trade, maybe even some hardware, but as long as I don't have the stuff to run this puppy it's mostly a doorstop. Cheap is good, but useless is...useless. I have an Amax II+ with software, and a Spectrum EGS card with software and I'm not using either of them. I also have two Toasters (not the 4000 model) which I am not using. So somebody make me a deal.

@Will-i-am

I have new for you..............good news.............the SuperGen SX does NOT need any software whatsoever to work...............the only thing on the disk are test screens and colorbars................and some neat utilities that allow you to control the SuperGenSX from Joystick to do the fades from a distnace if you need to.

Anyway...I have the disk, I guess I can mail you a copy..................oh.it has also a command called DoLace with interlaces non interlaced screens...........I always run it to interlace the SCALA MM 300 main screen and any other screens that are 320 x 200 or 640 x 200

SCala controls te SuperGen and the SX by the way with an EX

Okay! The guy I bought it from never answered my questions about the software and I didn't get a manual from him either. On the other hand I bought it for a fraction of it's worth. I suppose the various do-dahs on the disk would be worth it. Can I assume that since the controls otherwise look like the Supergen it works the same way? Seems reasonable. I'm trying to set things up so I can create some educational videos showing how to build and use wood-fired kilns, like the Greco-Roman and Japanese anagama kilns. Except for my beloved Amigas I'm a pretty low-tech kind of guy. Raised bed garden, home made soap. Brewing mead and nut brown ale....I'm just an old fashioned guy with six Amigas in various stages of repair. 8-) I'll send you the address if you're willing. Thanks a heap for the info.

@Will-i-am

Yeah it functions pretty much like the regualr SuperGen..........just slide the right bar up (while the other is still down) to overlay titles. Or slide both up to fade to the Amiga gfx.....or both back down to go to the Video thats being input into the genlock.

Pmail me your address
