For the fantasizing purposes only.. For the amiga enthusiast in all of us..

Let's say you've got blue beautiful Workbench 4.0 and by some Divine intervention it works on a 68x00. (x could be 0 too, right? ..)

What Axxx(x) model would you use for your "first" (money is no object in this case too).

You're going for a WB4.0 on a Motorola 68k and you're taking the 020 1200? No, you just want the 4000 as it ever was. Oh, no, no, wait, you're going for the 3000, you always wanted one after you transferred from your old 500 to a 1200. ;-)

Or, as a matter a fact, yo're taking the 2000 with a 020 and you're flating it through the 020 on ECS.

All of this aside, I'm in that case going for the 4000, 040 on 28Mhz. I'm unique, I'm the best, I'm the man. Didn't we all wanted to have a 4040 once and never got the shot.

So, with me, I'd take the Amiga 4000 with a MC680040 processor (without the 060, Picasso, blah, blah).

I'd go for sure, I'd go to be certain. I'd go for the Ive majority.

:->

P.S.

I think he's saying:

If, for the sake of fantasizing purposes only, Amiga OS 4.0 ran on 68K. What would be your first choice in plain unadulterated Amiga model? I believe his question my also exclude how well it would run. Basically, ireguardless of CPU which Amiga model.

Not only the A1000, but I'd take it rather then the 500 OCS.

BTW While at A500, my 5 cents would be that the model, and as such the only one of the Amiga models, is as jaded as hell. Rather none than the A500.

Picture that.

I'd want what I have - 1st choice, a late A3000 with an A3640 and all the trimmings :-)

Second Choice - an A500+ in perfect condition

3rd Choice - a hopped up A1200

I also want what I don't have - space to set them all up :-D

What ex Amiga of passed models would I use.

The A600, the console on which you could definitively ride the problem out of town.

For the virtual reality of the things, take that it has an unlocked 68k genuine.

Picture it. If these conditions, could itor could it not work? In my virtuality it could be a brain blast.

Right? Ah, no, left.. Well.. Go left, just take it, the left..
