Default Proper Mask and Max Transfer!?

Ok I have been fiddling with my 3000T's HD settings in HDToolBox and would like to know the proper settings to put. I have a Cyberstorm MKII 060, 18GB SCSI-2 HD and OS3.9. I currectly have it as: Mask 0x07fffffff, Max Transfer 0x00ffffff. I am seeing some weird stuff like some WHDLoad games taking forever to load, ie disk access for a long time, but when I load them from CD or RAM they load right up. (not large games that are being loaded by preload option, example Arkanoid)

Thanks

These seem ok to me, except one extra 0 before 7. It shouldn't really matter, 0x7fffffff and 0x07fffffff should be interpreted the same.

Hi

Mask- 0xFFFFFFFC

MaxTransfer- 0x0001FE00

1024 blocksize for UWSCSI and 512 for internal IDE.

here on all partition (PFS3 and SFS)

btw . . .which are the right values, for a CD mountlist?

Should it be the same?

Cheers

Well I tracked down the problem, AmigaOS ROM Update! If I remove it all the Games run fine. I had problems with this on my 1200 also.

@TjLaZer:

I am pretty sure the A3000(T) SCSI-controller should have the Mask set to 0x7FFFFFFC - ie DMA to/from the first 2GB (by C= spec), only to/from longword aligned addresses.

There should be no zero right after the 0x as you already have eight digits.

MaxTransfer should be 0xFFFFFF. No reason to go lower with a proper controller.
