Default Contiki again, this time I have questions

Contiki is pretty impressive. I am now using 1.2 dev1, and it works very well considering the hilariously low system resources. 1Mhz? 64k? Good enough to read the news on Amiga.org :-o

Here's my questions:
1) Hardware compatability, who's tried what hardware? With what luck?
2) WiFi C64, anyone actually tried it yet? Should work with a cheap ethernet to WiFi adapter.
3) Have a mint C128D you'd like to sell? How about a SuperCPU? :-D
4) Why is it so easy ot get TCP/IP on a C64 for free, but almost impossible to get even a LEGAL one on Amiga even for big buck$ ?!?

Someone once said, and this was years ago ('97 or '98), that the CBM scene was "alive and well" because people had acknowledged that the CBM itself was "dead"; conversely, the Amiga scene was in (and perhaps still is in) such a terrible state because people refuse to admit that it is a technological dead end, and they spend more time in shouting matches about how no, it's NOT dead rather than treating it like the hobby/retro platform that it is.

I made a hash of that; IIRC it was stated a lot more clearly by the original author.

4)

*points at AmiTCP 3.0b2*

Its a little hassle to get it to work because the installer-script is not 100% ok. The docs mentions how to deal with the installation issues (the textfile NOTE_TO_BETA_TESTERS).

This is the last AmiTCP-version released under GPL licensing. Even if is supposed to be a beta it is very stable, havent had any issues with it and I dont seem to be alone, check this link.

@Red,

I have a really nice C128D but I lost the keyboard in a move awhile back. I could never find a keyboard for sale anywhere.

@red
Give up my 128D??!!!!??!
NEVER!!!!!
basicwayne just sold a nice one on ebay.
I wrote a note to Maurice Randall about the SCPU. He says he's still making them, there's just a LONG waiting list.

@spihunter
They occasionally have them on ebay.

That looks pretty sweet!

I have a regular C128 if you would want that. I don't use it as we didn't get a 128 until after we had moved mostly from the C64 to the A500 in my family. A guy gave it to me complete in the boxes for free about 2 years ago. Let me know if you're interested.

@JetFireDX
If Red doesn't want it I'll take it.

@JetFireDX

Thanks for the offer, but I'm specifically looking for a C128D. Functionally they are pretty much the same, except for the C128Ds 64K VRAM (80 colum GFX mode). I want the extra VRAM, and I want the case style:-)
