Default PCMCIA network card for A1200...

Does anyone know if this Belkin network card will work with an A1200 and cnet.device?

I have a chancec to buy a new one dirt cheap but would like to know if I have any chance of it working!

It is a PCMCIA 16-bit card, (not a newer CardBus, hence why it is cheap)

If its not on the cnet compatibility list you probably won't be able to use it, sorry.

I have a 16bit PCMCIA card too you see, and this is not cnet compatible. So being old and relatively slow is no guarantee it will work for you. It depends on the "chipset" I think.

In the end, there's only one way to find out... :-(

Edit: cnet does support some 100mbps cards - the coder of cnet chased me up about that one. ;-)

The Cnet.device is compatible with *most* NE2000 compliant cards.

After looking at the site you mentioned, I couldn`t see a single mention of it being NE2000 compatible, so I`d hazard a guess and say no it won`t work.

Unless that it, it`s so cheap you don`t mind taking a risk, or are able to try it first.
