In my A2000, I have a memory card, scsi controller, and accelerator. I have a Multiface III serial card that I want to put in. My question is, since I have no owner's manual, how many Zorro II slots do I have, and how do they count starting from the accelerator card next to the power supply?
Thanks

5 Zorro II slots in the A2k and afaik if you're not using any ISA cards then it doesn't matter what order the slots are used in.

Is that including the slot that the accelerator is in, or is that a proprietary slot?

CPU slot is proprietary, certainly not a Zorro slot.

Nice picture. I was wondering about the last two of the five on the left, that look like they may be shared some way. Are they completely different, it is just that you can only use either/or, or are they tied together somehow. I see by the picture that the slot for the accelerator is slightly smaller.

The last 2 are inactive ISA slots.

Just to avoid any misunderstanding...
"Passive ISA-Slot" only refers to the part near the backplate of the mobo. The 5 100Pin Zorro2-slots (here shown in the lower part of the picture) are identical to each other. You can put your cards in any you want in any order. They will then be added to your system from right to left. Which might make a small difference in your case as your Z2 cards hold more then the 6MB available (after the 2MB on the 2630 have been added to the system). Generally it would be a wise move to remove surpass RAM from the RAM card till your down to 8MB (+1MB chip).

It's Amiga time!

If you use ISA cards (and I doubt most amiga users do), they can eat up space for Zorro cards, since some of the slots overlap

There are many toaster 2000 users that use the ISA slots for Time Based Corrector cards. But yes 5 zorro2, best besides A4000T no other standard amiga has more zorro slots. I have an a2000 with:
Vector 030 w/16mb ram SCSI Opal vision in video slot Firecracker 24 zorro Piccolo 64 rtg gfx card zorro AD SCSI 2000 zorro Vlab Motion zorro LIVE! 2000 board zorro
