HOWEVER I dont ever ever advocate Internet Stalking/Spying and Privacy Invasion IN ANY WAY BY ANYONE Least of all Amiga sites!

The truth needs to be known about their Gestapo tactics. (like recently when Merlin erased my post on EAB that was a simple question of will they change their ways of moderation/admining after the last hacking attack) Kind of funny but by erasing my post kind of answers the question and proves my point.

Well people should care that an Amigacentric website spies on its users. I thought Amiga people were savy and for internet privacy? Apparently not..

Then again there is the matter of the once great Amibench taking over by a bunch of power hungry admins and turning into some kind of private club that controls the actions of its members.

Then the silliness of claiming people are "scalpers" when I see guys selling stuff on Amibay that got an A4000 with 060 from some poor sucker for $50. And they say I profit on amigans backs.. thats a laugh.. 10 years a dealer and yeah, I profit on the sweat of amiga users..

BTW i'm not the only one who feels this way about Amibay and their insane and arrogant methods.

Actually, i would appreciate that this Amibay flaming stops here. I just want to sell my BPPC+BVision and i have linked my Amibay thread to avoid copy/paste it. The same text applies here, feel free to PM if you want to buy.

Magnetic, the guy is simply trying to sell items.

We understand your stance on Amibay, and honestly I'm no fan of the place either. But how's about we stop derailing threads in which people are simply trying to sell their items, even if it is via means/places you aren't a fan of.

Yes, I understand the irony that I am essentially only further derailing this fellows sale thread, but man - enough.

I remember trying to use Amibay once, I can't remember if I was buying or selling, probably the latter, but I remember it being a chore and I was contacted about why I was struggling. Now when I have gear for sale I list on eBay and post on here, Amigaworld and Amigans to let people know its up for sale. OK so you pay eBay fees but you get the exposure, Paypal seller protection and everything Amiga is pot luck on sale price anyway so any net amount received is arbitrary anyway.

This has absolutely nothing to do with Xanxi's sale, why don't you all create a thread with your gripes about Amibay and post all you messages there instead and stop hijacking everyones thread who menations Amibay?
