Default Quake for Aros

I have a commercial version of Quake for Dos.
How can I upgrade Aros Quake with it?
Aros Quake appears to be a demo.

Just replace the contents of the ID1 folder with the PAK files from the full version.

Thanks, I wondered if that was the case.
Will it play CD audio?
I also have Quake III and need to copy those files to Quake III folder.
Edit:
Is there GL Quake for Aros and is there Quake II for Aros?

Yes.

http://aros-exec.org/

And now that I'm off work I can elaborate a bit more.

I am not in front of one of my computers atm, but I'm pretty sure that Quake II uses a ID2 folder and Quake III and ID3 folder or something to that effect. You'll see.

Bottom line is that you can do the same trick to make all three games commercial as opposed to demo.

As for Audio CD support. I dunno, last time I was running AROS was on a netbook (which I sold), and it did not have a CD-ROM attached to it, so I never tested that side of things.

They all three play quite well though from what I recall, and last I recall, BigFoot ported over Return to Castle Wolfenstein over to AROS a while ago too.

There is also a basic port of PRBOOM if you are into playing DOOM still as well, not to mention a plethora of other FPS'.

Hope that helps a little.

I did not get the audio cd to work.
I had to install Quake in Dosbox to get the Pak files.
I did get Quake III to work but it was terribly slow.

I still will have to look for Quake II and Castle Wolfenstein.
I am looking to get a GT520 or GT430. The first card is about 59.00 dollars U.S. and the second is about 79 dollars U.S.
I hear that the GT430 is faster.

I recently fired up my AROS box. I don't believe that Quake II did make it for AROS for some reason. Odd.

As for Quake 1...

...how's that controlling for you? Works like total crap for me. Mouse is all messed up, etc. etc.

Quake 3 on the other hand runs quite exceptionally.

Quake I is fine, Quake III is slow.
I have new hardware and no Quake III.
Doom 3 is around the corner.

@trekiej

To get CD audio working in most ports, create an ISO of your DOS CD, and then mount it in AROS. Some ports do not support CD audio, I know that MorphOS version does...

OS X trumps Windows on every level.

MorphOS, OS4 and Classic Amiga systems are the only ones who are real 'Amigas', not that joke AROS or Amiga Forever.

I'm pretty sure that Quake III flies on my AROS PC Athlon 2600 . That was on AROS 1.3.X, but I lost everything during upgrade to 1.4, so I cant verify it right now.

Neither a GF430 or a GT520 are good for AROS as gallium support for both is pretty bad. Even a Gefore5xxx or 6xxx will be much faster (same is true for gallium on any platform, not just aros).
As for Quake gl, aros has a few different versions and even has some of the super enhanced versions that are beyond the scope of MOS or OS4.
In regards to cd audio making an iso as suggested will not work as doing this means there's no audio cable plugged in to play the cdda files. This again isnt unique to aros.
