Amiga Marketplace This forum is here so that members can alert other members to Amiga items they've seen on eBay (or other auctions). If you are selling Amiga items on eBay, you might let us know about them here. Likewise, if you're selling Amiga items sans eBay, this is the "for sale" forum.

I doubt it. There are always users who need to transfer their floppies to ADF but once it is done there is no more use for such device anymore. Digital joystick adapters could find some market from emulators but generally it is all too expensive. To create a proper USB device you have to register your vendor id and it costs some serious money...

The Catweasel isn't just about getting disk images onto a PC (or whatever) though, I use it more often the other way round! I like to run disk images on the real hardware; that's why the Catweasel drivers for AmigaOS support so many esoteric computer formats - whenever I need a particular image format, I just write it into the drivers.

Creating a USB device is more sensible, and not that expensive - otherwise the KryoFlux couldn't exist. PCI is totally obsolete these days, we need a PCI Express solution or a USB solution, preferably a PCI Express one as USB tends to be external. Kryoflux is good, but it is a little messy... better to have just one nice card in the machine and a disk drive inside the machine rather than stuff hanging out the back.

I agree,PCI-E would be a good way to go or USB but then connected directly to the motherboard usb header to avoid using it as an external device.
Oh I would also love an to have a Catweasel

I think that a catweasel installed on a powermac could use the 68k drivers to access the disks, more or less in the way you do it with winuae. If someday i end up with a g4 tower i will try for sure.

I own a Mk IV Catweasel that I'm no longer using. I have the software still, and I've kept it in an antistatic bag. Let me know if you're still looking.
