See 1st edited post (9/9) I did in fact by-pass the lock... But the key does several things,(locks out keybd and mouse, resets the machine, and of course opens access to the machine) but most important.... I want to setup the machine like it came out of the box. What I can't figure out is, since all 3000T came with two keys...where are all the keys? Did everyone who had a 3000T just lock the machine and throw away the key? Last edited by SACC-guy; 09-28-2012 at 10:24 PM.. Reason: more info |

I have a 4000D which came without keys, however I found new ones at Maplins (UK electronics retail chain)
The 4000D keys are different though, but this might still help you. In the worst case scenario, you could still exchange the whole lock. http://www.maplin.co.uk/components/s...s/key-switches |
